For normal operation no special requirements. Just plug in and go.

For setup mode execution use the Failsafe Receivers Push/Pull method but ensure that the rx is powered up all the time that the winch is.

Note: The Failsafe Receivers Push/Pull method mentions 10 second count down. Ignore the 10 and take it as 5 in this case.

 

May 11 2004 to March 31 2005

For normal operation the rx must be turned on first then once rudder control is achieved then the winch can be turned on. This means a delay of about 2 seconds between rx on and winch on.

For setup mode execution use the Failsafe Receivers Push/Pull method but ensure that the rx is powered up all the time that the winch is.

In the booklet with these winches, the standard setup mode is described but needs to be run per the Failsafe Receivers method in the booklet. The online version combines the two into a simpler to understand procedure.
