When was my SmartWinch produced

Pre May 11 2004

All SmartWinches produced prior to May 11 2004, have a 5 second setup mode countdown. This includes some 280D, 280DL, 380D and 380HD.

If unsure what the countdown time is, simply unplug the winch from your rx then turn the winch on. The winch will beep once per second until the 3 quick beep signal for the setup mode entry point. Turn the winch off at this point. If it was 5 seconds before the 3 quick beeps signal, its a pre May 11 2004 winch.

After May 11 2004 all SmartWinches have a 10 second setup mode countdown.

May 11 2004 to March 31 2005
