A brief introduction to myself and my kennels.
I have been around dogs all my life; my parents bred Boxers and German Shepherds.
I was breeding German Shepherds in Tasmania when, in 1975, I decided I wanted a second breed of dog.
After a great deal of research I chose the Irish Terrier.
I purchased my first Irish Terriers from Mary Murray's Kinderscout Kennels in Victoria. |
My first Irish Terrier,
Ch.Kinderscout Adele |
 |
|
|
Adele was a great little Irish - the correct temperament, conformation
and a great little mover. I still have direct descendents of hers in my kennels today. |
| |
In 1987 I relocated to the head of the beautiful Goomburra Valley in South-east Queensland.
I established my current kennel facilities where I now concentrate solely on breeding Irish Terriers.
My prefix, 'Roismar', is gaelic for 'a place of roses' and the dog-rose is my emblem. |
