Roughstock is a small kennel in Goulburn NSW Australia. We breed for LOVE not PROFIT!!
Both John and myself love the outdoors with Johns previous hobby being Bull Riding at Rodeos, So when our first son Cameron arrived the rodeos slowed down. We decided that it would be good for our son to grow up with a pet, after careful thought we came up with a Staffordshire to suit our family. The next step was finding one.
With time we found our first bitch Couloir Rebelstoke " Rebel". Who went to Rainbow bridge Nov 2006. Her breeders Carl and Dianna Banning. With the help of her sires owners Geoff and Margaret Boswell of TUSKALEAR , Sydney. Who have been our greatest mentors with our chosen breed.
We bred our first litter in 1995 just a month before our second son Tyler was born. From then on we haven't looked back We now show and breed very selectively under the prefix of ROUGHSTOCK.
After a number of years helping run shows and stewarding, Jean finally decided to become a Terrier judge in 2003
In June 2005 was elevated to an ANKC Terrier Judge.
2006/2007 Jean was studying for the Toy Group passing her final exams in June 2007.
2008 Jean received her upgrade to ANKC level on the TOY Group.
