Basic specs: MCX100 model T44 477Mhz UHF CB 128 channel 04/01/08 PL tone 1B Syntrx Prom board. 27C64 Eprom. "L" ch1-8 Repeater mode channel L41 = 9/39 split Power set 30Watts The MCX100 makes the best UHF CB there is......All CB channels and repeater offsets, including 9/39 offset. Outstanding audio both ways. Nominal power is 30 Watts, however if you want to wind it up and flog it hard, 50watts is acheivable. Its a big radio, the same size as an FM91, but heavier. The quality built into these radios is considerable. The GREEN wire goes to the ignition switch, so that when you kill the engine the radio switches off, but because power is maintained at the radio via the normal power leads, the last channel and scan settings are retained. Simple to reprogram, the special prom made of unobtainium has gone, and is replaced with a sub-board holding an standard 27C*** 28 pin EPROM. Alignment is completely straightforward, just nett the radio, run down the RX strip, and its done. The PA is very wide and has no tuning ajustments.
