30 November 2005 Khandro Thrinlay Chodron is the daughter of Apho Rinpoche, a widely respected master of the Drukpa Kagyu tradition. She was trained with the late great Gegen Khyentse Rinpoche and the late Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche. She has a BA from Punjab University and an MA in East– West Psychology from the Institute of Integral Studies San Francisco. She has also practised in solitary retreat in the mountains of Nepal under the guidance of Sengdrak Rinpoche. Khandro-la
is now visiting Australia to teach and we have the opportunity to spend
two evenings with her. With her strong background of Eastern and
Western worlds, she acts as a bridge between these two cultures.
She will be giving a short teaching and meditation and also be showing
us a video about her work in the remote areas of Ladakh.
