Russian Blues

Tyna Mi Annakalea

The Russian Blues unique personality is one of its most endearing characteristics. Time spent developing an affectionate relationship with your Russian Blue will reward you with a wonderful devoted friend that wants to be involved in all family activities.

A serene and reserved cat sitting in an elegant pose can explode into action when something requires their immediate attention.

A scratching pole with toys attached will keep your Russian amused for hours and also gives it a vantage point from which it can survey its surroundings.

Due to the thick dense coat of the Russian Blue it is believed to have originated in the northern regions of Russia. The coat protects the cat from both heat and cold.

Both male and female Russains make wonderful, loving and gentle companions. Sex should have little bearing when selecting a kitten.

Russians have no inherent genetic problems and are generally considered to be a very hardy cat and not prone to illness.

The Russian comes in only three colours that are recognised world wide, Blue, White and more recently Black with Blue being by far the most popular colour.
