1 INTRODUCTION We
were first
introduced to the Staffordshire Bull Terrier breed in 1997 when we
purchased our first fawn
bitch named 'Pennyflower Battlinberfa' (Berfa).
She was a great ambassador to the breed and found a place in our
hearts with ease being loved and owned by my mother Mrs Sandy Murray. As
time went on we became interested in the showing aspect so we purchased a
show bitch 'Pennyflower Kiara' who later went on to become our first
champion and so the journey began which literally was a journey as we lived
700km from the nearest Capital City
Perth. For the next two years we traveled to country and
Metropolitan shows obtaining great results although we knew that if we wanted attain 'Kiara’s' Championship title
we had to relocate to Perth
on a permanent basis. We
made the move in late 2000 and it did not take long before 'Kiara' won
her first challenge. Kiara has had some great wins and has left her
imprint in the Perth show scene. Whilst showing in Metropolitan Perth we met and fell in love with a young and upcoming male Stafford 'Ch Orazz Dalesman' (Guinness' who has been affectionately nick named 'Piglet'). We were lucky enough to attain purchase of a puppy from his first litter and so 'Bailey' joined our family.
'Ch
Orazz
Fatalic' (Bailey) has developed into a remarkable young man and has
already accomplished many great feats. At the age of 14 months Bailey
qualified for his Championship. With
our first litter now behind us and exhibiting our own prefix we
look forward to the enjoyment of loving and campaigning ours Stafford's
long into the future.
