Daylight Hours And
Start and End of Daylight
Daylight Hours
The daylight hours for Tawonga South and
Mt Beauty are shown in this graph.
Start
and End of Daylight
These graphs show the start and end of daylight
for Australian latitudes. The time refers to the local (sun) time
and is approximately 15 minutes before sunrise or 15 minutes after sunset
(officially described as the beginning or end of civil twilight).
To obtain the equivalent standard time you have to calculate the time difference
between your longitude and 0 deg longitude (Coordinated Universal Time
- UTC) and then apply the time difference between your standard time zone
and UTC. To get data for a specific location we suggest that you consult
the US Naval Observatory site at http://aa.usno.navy.mil/data/docs/RS_OneYear.html
