Geophysical consultants from SCG. Seismic Consultants Group Pty. Ltd. (SCG) provides specialist services in seismic survey project management and seismic field crew supervision and quality control to the oil and gas geophysical exploration industry. Specialising in land and transition zone seismic surveys the company offers oil exploration companies throughout the world access to a highly experienced group of geophysical consultants.
Seismic Consultants Group Pty. Ltd. (SCG) is a company formed early in 1990 to represent a number of independent geophysical consultants and provide specialist services in seismic field crew supervision and quality control. The principal of the group, Mr. Tony Cheshire together with the other consultants listed, operate in all oil exploration areas. SCG offers exploration companies throughout the world access to this highly experienced group of consultants.
SCG is able to provide an exploration company with highly experienced geophysical consultants and bird dogs. Each consultant is independent in his or her own right with an established track record and SCG operates as an interface between individual or groups of consultants and operating companies. This enables oil exploration companies requiring very experienced seismic field crew quality control personnel to access them through a single source. SCG serves as a corporate entity between these freelance consultants and exploration companies, providing flexible liability insurance, medical evacuation insurance, operating procedures, safety guidelines and other facilities that are difficult for individual consultants to provide.
Seismic Consultants Group Pty. Ltd. (SCG) is committed to upholding the highest standard of occupational health and safety at all times. It seeks to safeguard the health and safety of all personnel engaged in a project and to promote the wellbeing of the individual.
The company endeavours to provide adequate resources and contingency planning to ensure the welfare of all specialists, including provision for emergency medical evacuation and treatment.
SCG ensures that all specialists have adequate health and safety training and prior advice, specific to the area in which personnel will be working, is provided by the company.
SCG personnel are required to assume leadership in matters of safety awareness as well as safe working practices and to encourage and promote prioritization of these values by all parties engaged in projects with which SCG is involved.
Seismic Consultants Group Pty. Ltd. supports the procedures set out in the International Association of Geophysical Contractors' Environmental Guidelines: its geophysical consultants are required to develop and promote operational procedures and work practices such that adverse physical environmental impacts are minimised.
