GL-Dual Speed Motor (Dual Function Motor)

Motors recieved recently, factory has sent controllers with manual type select for windings, have had to order some auto select controllers
which should arrive by about 24th july.
Postcript: Auto switching controllers arrived mid august 06, still had no time to test this motor in a bike as yet, should be done by about November 2006, fingers crossed.






Torque Graphs are 48volts and for a 22" rim:

so for a 20" rim: high speed winding is 22/20*52= 58Nm , low speed winding is 22/20*60=  66Nm max. torque
therefore % increase in torque when switching windings = 66/58*100-100= 14%  

and for a 26" rim: high speed windings are 24/26*52= 48Nm, low speed windings are 24/26*60= 55Nm max. torque
therefore % increase in torque when switching windings =55/48*100-100= 15%
