Ben's parents have both been exported to Colonial specialist breeders in NZ. His sire,Cudglebar Rasuli was previously a Kikkuli experiment horse and successful sprint racer, renowned for his good temperament. Ben was started under saddle in 2004 and broken to harness in 2005. This year he has been on loan to Duncan McLaughlin near Canberra for his first endurance season, and also taking the opportunity to advance his basic education under saddle. Duncan's comments:

Ben's first foals arrived in 2005 and they are nice quality with human oriented temperaments. Two have already been sold.
