Bill Handley

"Trained for the stage" as a child, Bill started his career in the mainstream, "Disney on Parade", "Oklahoma". Then he got serious, studied at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts, graduated, joined "Fieldworks", an experiential dance theatre company that attracted a variety of artists, and performed in contemporary pieces like "Watershed". He has often introduced other media and more theatrical techniques into dance and performance art. Currently a member of ID339 he performed in Paul Gazzola’s "Living Room" in Berlin 2000. ‘The move into humour’, he says, ‘is inevitable, the older you get, the more you see the joke.’
