A cutaway diagram of one of Tom's new VAF speakers - the
DCX model. They're about five foot tall; have a complicated series of
baffles inside and are reasonably efficient, meaning they can be
driven to high pressure levels quite easily. At present receiving 100
wpc each. Very impressive sound, esp. on jazz-rock such as Joan
Armatrading. Good on classical too... Tight reproduction across the
frequency range; impressive bottom end esp. teamed with the VAF
subwoofer
