2 More MKA locos arrived in Burnie on 24th April 2007, to join the 3 MKA locomotives that arrived in Burnie from South Australia on 7th December 2004. Here are some photos of the units on arrival. Scroll to the bottom of the MKA page!

NEW: AN TO PN VOL2 The EBR/MELBA Line Volume 2 of this series features the Emu Bay / Melba line. See the EBR's huge 9 loco trains that were the normal mode of operation in the '80s, then the change of ownership and conversion to air brakes that spelled the end for the diesel-hydraulic fleet. Many special trains are covered, especially operations in the snow, 115 minutes.
