Rural and Remote Mental Health Service (RRMHS)
The Rural & Remote Mental Health Service of South Australia is dedicated to the provision of mental health services to people living in rural and remote areas of South Australia. The Service is comprised of metropolitan and rural based professionals working together to achieve positive consumer outcomes under the "primary care psychiatry" model.
Our Vision: Access for rural and remote communities to a comprehensive and
coordinated range of adequately resourced Mental Health ServicesOur Mission: To improve the mental health status of people in rural and remote areas through
- development of innovative models of service coordination and delivery
- provision of additional resources
- ongoing support by specialist mental health practitioners
