Class 5, Catherine Billington born 1866 was admitted, C of E, discharged 8th March 1888 with baby John born February 9th 1888 and discharged with Catherine on same date. Friend or relative of Pauper was an Agnes Bowker of 16 Snape Street, Back Lane, Radcliffe.(Agnes Bowker was Agnes nee Billington, the daughter of Anthony Billington below and wife Elizabeth Nee Hardman, she married a Joseph Bowker in 1881) Class 2, On March 15th 1893, Anthony Billington born 1828 from Pilkington (as referred to above), P.Meth.and was dicharged 17th June 1893. " Relative or friend of Pauper". was a Jane Schofield of Hillock Lane, Nr. Whitefield. Anthony was re-admitted as a class 2 patient on July 12th 1893 and discharged self on the 14th August 1893. Anthony died at this workhouse on the 23rd May, 1899 aged 71 years.
