   22nd November, 1999 - 30th April 2007

Tess was the type of dog that you dream about.  She approached everything in her short life with the attitude of  "if I am going to do this, I am going to do it RIGHT !"

...and she did

She did everything I ever asked of her and more.  Those of you that knew her know just how special she was.

From showing, to running in harness, agility, motherhood and even her final battle with the cancer that finally took her away from me- she surpassed everyone's expectations.

There will never be another Tess.  But she will live on forever in the hearts of those that knew her.

I held you in my hands when you entered this world, I held you in my arms when you left.  I will hold you in my heart forever.

Run free my baby girl...

Siberian Husky Club of NSW - Championship Show and Agility Trial
29th May 2004
Tess wins Judge's Choice for
BEST IN TRIAL

Tess was a Best In Group, Class in Group/Show winner, including many Specialty and Royal wins.  She won Best Puppy In Breed at Melbourne Royal 2000 and was one of four finalists for Puppy In Group.  She also won Reserve Challenge Bitch at Canberra Royal 2002.  Tess competed in Specialty shows in NSW, Victoria and South Australia and apart from Class in Show wins, she also won Best Head, Best Coat, Best Eyes and Best Tail, as well as teaming up with different dogs on different occasions and winning Best Brace.  Tess was the number 2 Siberian Husky Bitch in NSW in 2002*.

Not only did she have an excellent top line, front and tail set, she had effortless and correct movement, which ensured that she was always noticed in the ring and led to her nickname "ROCKET".

Tess raced with the ICEPOWER Sled Dog Team, and also successfully competed in Agility trials. Twice she was awarded the title of "Best In Trial".

Tess also proved to be a wonderful producer.

As always, Tess excelled....producing
NINE happy and healthy babies.
(Don't ask me how they all fit in there!)

She truly was more than just a pretty face!

Missed deeply by all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Always on her best behaviour!

Not just a pretty face.  She knows how to work in harness too!

Tess's favourite spot was right at the front door.

So she could see what is happening, and to make sure she wasn't missing out on anything!

Tess just loved her agility, and most people loved to watch her - if only for the laugh they got!.  As for me, well, agility with a Siberian certainly helps keep your feet on the ground!

But all the hard work - and sore sides from laughing - are definitely worth it in the long run.  Both Tess and I have made some great new friends all thanks to the sport of AGILITY
