The Chapel at Templestowe.

Templestowe Cemetery and Memorial Gardens' Chapel is available for the conduct of funeral, memorial or thanksgiving services in the community.

Situated in the North West corner of the cemetery, the facilities provide a peaceful, non-denominational Chapel that seats 75 and will accommodate a total of 100. Adjoining the Chapel is a reception room where, with prior notice, refreshments can be served after the service. Naturally the usual public facilities are also provided.

The Chapel and refreshment room may be used even though the actual burial may be elsewhere.

When the service is to be followed by a burial within Templestowe Cemetery the coffin can be carried out of the Chapel through the main door, either to the hearse, or directly to the grave.

In the case of cremation, arrangements can be made with us to convey the deceased to the crematorium of your choice. Your Funeral Director will be able to advise you about this option. The Chapel, while modern, incorporates many traditional features. The catafalque enables “traditional” committals to be conducted.

The fees to use the Chapel can be found on our Scale of Fees page.

We are able to provide catering and refreshments, and also have a function room available for hire.

We will be pleased to show you around our facility.

Tell your Funeral Director that you want the service held in the Chapel at Templestowe Cemetery and Memorial Gardens.
