| Collectorama is one of the best Antique and Collectable fairs in
Queensland. This fair is held on the beautiful Sunshine Coast in the
bustling sugar cane town of Nambour. The venue is the showgrounds, (next to
the Bowls Club), in a pleasant country setting. As it's name suggests,
'Collectorama' is a collectors dream come true, with over 150 traders from
all over South East Queensland and several from interstate, converging on
the showgrounds for a one day fair. |
The fair is full of delightful surprises and you'll see many a
satisfied customer on the day, thrilled with the cornucopia of items,
enjoying the terrific opportunity to find something for their collection.
And it's fun! Shopping amongst historical goods and chattels from a
simpler time, when things were made to last. The world of collecting is
vast, with innumerable avenues for the collector. As any collector will
tell you, it becomes a satisfying passion, adding extra intriguing
dimensions to life. |
We cater for most aspects of collecting, from fine antiques to
bric a brac, so whatever your budget, you're sure to be happy to find
treasures that will suit you. It's the way one incorporates the new
acquisition into the home that can make a simple object into a work of art.
Collectorama Fairs are held 4 times per year, always on a Saturday, from
8am till 3pm. For a small admission fee of $5 for adults you're set for a
fascinating day out in an atmosphere filled with the hum of excited
collectors and traders. There's a cafeteria and bar on site and plenty of
free parking. |
