The club was originally a Picture Theatre and has transformed into a large recreational/sports facility over the years, which includes soccer/baseball fields.

Townsville PCYC conducts a wide range of sporting and recreational activities for children, young people, families, adults and senior citizens.

Most of the activities are directed towards meeting the development needs of children and young people.

Since commencing duties as a Police Officer I have served all my years in the Townsville District, and have grown to know the community and it people well. 

I decided to apply for the Sergeants position at the Townsville PCYC as I felt that I could serve the community in a different area of policing. 

I am working to include programs for at risk young people and enjoy working with other government agencies to increase the support we can offer young people in the community.
