Utes

This is the start of a compilation of all the Utes that I have association with.

To start with this is the ute I would like to have if only I had the money.

This here is my mate Mick’s Toyota 4X4 hilux ute. This is a resent photo. I will put the details and anything else about it up here too when Mick tells me them. I know he would say it is fully sick mate.

Now this here is the undisputed legend. This is my mate Ryan’s 2001 model Toyota 50th Anniversary 78 series 4X4 landcruiser ute. What more can I say these utes speak for themselves. It also has a few accessories to top it off. Like UHF, subwoofer, mad spotlights, and cage.

This here is Mick when he first got his hilux and if you wonder if it is the same ute yes it is. He has just done such a good job rebuilding it.

This here is Ryan pulling Mick out of the mud. Recovery gear is worth more than its weight in gold when it comes to getting a ute out of mud.

Cars

Here are a few photos of my 1990 VN Commodore. It is not the best (has broken down way too many times for my liking) but I have seen worst. It is a V6 3.8 litre auto a V8 would get me in too much trouble (not that this V6 hasn’t). These are old photos I have since lowered it 2 ½ inches, sports exhaust, tinted windows, new gearbox, big stereo, and have had replaced more parts on it than I can count. I have also smashed the front end but have had it rebuilt to how it was (everything on the front is now new). One thing that this car lacks is good brakes !!!!!!!.

Bikes

Here is my bike that I have now sold (regretfully). It was a 1989 Honda CR125 that also I replaced a lot of parts on. This bike is what I had before my first car. And boy did I find out how costly it was to run. When I first got it I had no trouble. But as I thrashed it more I found out. After no maintenance for the first couple of months I realised I had a problem. Upkeep. So work started and in this photo the bike was at it’s best. I blew up the motor (twisted the piston in the bore) so the motor came out and a better than new one came back. So the rest that followed was new tyres, shocks, chain, sprockets, totally new brakes including the disks pads callipers hoses master cylinders leavers, handle bars n grips, muffler etc and the list goes on. I loved that bike and it went so good too especially on octane boost 108 with really good quality two-stroke oil. I got a lot of use out of it. I would love to still have it.

This here bike is my mate Ryan’s. It is also a Honda CR125 but a 1998 model I think. This bike was a weapon (as I found out when hitting a jump the wrong direction when hitting power band). It had the Honda power port system, which who knows if that made any difference but it sounds good. This bike was made to be thrashed. When it wasn’t Ryan would get the shits because the spark plug would foul up and he would have to push it all the way back to the garage. Otherwise I would say this bike provided some young Moto riders more than it was worth. And that is saying something.

These here are Ryan’s sisters Honda XR100’s they are 2000 model’s I think. They are the perfect hunting bikes in that they are small and easy to ride through thick scrub and bush. Faultless little four strokes that are quiet, reliable, and run on the smell of an oily rag.
