The Vesco Square Meaters stud is run by Jo van Elten and Pam Scott in southeast Queensland's Lockyer valley where conditions are often
hard, hot and dry.
It was their observation that their quiet and original traditional Murray Grey females invariably produced the type of beast butchers were
prepared to pay a premium for that lead them to establishing a Square Meaters Stud.
The Vesco Square Meaters herd was founded on selected cows carrying the bloodlines of the famed Michaelong Stud, which goes back to the
origins of the Murray Grey breed.
