CORGI no 420 Thames Airborne caravan (diecast)
This is a reasonably accurate model of an
Airborne camper conversion on a Thames van. Opening rear doors,
detailed interior and working torsion bar suspension. Available in 2
tone green, 2 tone purple and 2 tone blue.

DINKY no 436 Atlas Copco compressor truck

The same physical size as the Corgi but a more
accurate rendition of a cab-chassis with rear mounted air compressor.
The only one I've seen has been yellow.

.Update 04/04/04
Recently obtained a plastic friction drive model of a Thames bus
similar to the Corgi Airborne but larger (about 1/20 scale) and a
similar plastic model of a Thames pickup appears to have been made.
Hope to have some photos shortly.

MODEL photos
supplied by John Welch in the UK

A Telsalda friction
drive plastic model (about 1/20th scale) Not sure if a repaint has
been applied or if this is the original colour. Both of mine are grey
and have removable or extendable roofs- an airborne camper and a
standard minibus with roof-rack and this one seems to have a solid
roof

Standard and
modified versions of a plastic 1/20 scale truck. Made in Hong Kong
like the Telsalda but unsure of the brand

Underside photo shows a
battery compartment, power switch and drive/ steer unit between the
front wheels. From memory of similar models I think they randomley
drive and steer but it's been about 30 years since I've seen one so I
could be wrong!

Styleside pickup and
bike on E-bay recently
