A listing of various manuals (owner's, workshop and parts) which will be added to as I find more. The lists are more or less chronological but by no means comprehensive. Anyone who'd like to forward scans to fill the gaps then go for it.

                                 OWNER'S   MANUALS

Instruction book (English 1961 - 80 pages)  Appears to be the most common of the earlier books - covers the 3 speed gearbox only. Later versions may have covered the 4 speed as well. Glovebox sized.

Thames 800  Operator's Manual (Australian 1964 - 44 pages) Has a 4 page insert covering the 4 speed dated 9/64. The manual itself is dated 8/64. Glovebox sized.

Operator's manual for Thames 10-12 15 cwt range (English 1964 - 56 pages) Has a fold out lubrication chart and lots of minor differences to the Australian version below . Thames nameplate on front of van drawing and Ford Motor Company Limited Dagenham. Glovebox sized. Dated 9/64.-

Operator's manual for Ford medium van range (Australian 1965  - 54 pages) Has condensed lubrication chart on one page and a Ford nameplate on the front of the van. Ford Motor Company Limited Warley England and dated 8/65. Glovebox sized. ( Excuse the condition of my copy - it was left in a Thames that leaked)

Ther is also a glovebox sized version of the spare parts list mentioned below that I know of but don't have a photo of.

                               WORKSHOP    MANUALS

Thames 800 Service Manual ( Australian 1960 - about 100 pages) Covers 3 speed only. No page numbers but 10 chapters. A4 size

Thames Repair Manual (English 1961 - 245 pages) Covers 3 speed only. High Quality glossy paper. A4 size

Ford Shop Manual (Australian 1968 - 308 pages) Covers 4 speed gearbox and diff. Plain paper. Aus. edition printed from English copy sep 68. A4 sized

                            PARTS    MANUALS

Thames Parts List (English)  These seem to have a lot of variations. The two I have are identical covers but the lower one is almost twice as thick as the upper.About 6 pages in there is an engine no. chart which finishes at Jan 1960 in the upper one and Oct 61 in the lower. The first has 94 pages followed by about 30 pages of illustrations and the second has 200 pages with the illustrations inserted throughout the  text. I have seen some copies with different shades of green on the cover and a glovebox sized version as well. These are A4 sized.

Australian Parts Catalogue  Published May 1965 and supplied to Ford Australia parts divisions, this is a loose leaf binder about 3 inches thick (about 75mm?) and has the Mark 3 Zephyr in the front half. Ford were still using these books in the mid 1980's when I was buying new parts off them. I used to ask to stay for another half hour after buying my parts to read the parts manual!
