The Styleside Pickup version of the Thames is rare. So rare that I have no photos of them as there seems to be none left. Until / unless any turn up we'll have to make do with some sales brochure / publicity shots.

I saw one in 1976 driving down the road blowing massive amounts of smoke and I haven't seen it or any others since. Rust seems to have been a problem with the all steel tray. If anyone knows of the whereabouts of any please e-mail.

The one that I saw seemed to have a high sided tray which combined with the short wheelbase made for a fairly horrible looking vehicle which has tarnished my impression of the pickup variation. But I must admit the factory version looks pretty smart.

 

 

The Garner bodied pickup on the right looks closer to the one I saw - I can't remember a lower beltline on the one I saw like on the factory one.
